다섯. Pacemaker, 페이스메이커

서로에게 힘이 될 수 있는 모임

 

최근에 다양한 분야에서 페이스메이커의 이름으로 모임을 하고 있다고 들었다. 지난주, 월요일과 토요일에 나는 두 번의 페이스메이커의 모임에 참여했다. 매달 한 번 만나는 모임에 참여하여 여러 분야에 사람들을 만나고 이야기를 들을 수 있는 공간이다. 이 모임으로 나를 한층 더 발전시킬수 있을 것 같다.

 

 

 

페이스메이커란?

마라톤 용어로써 마라토너보다 앞서 뛰면서 마라토너가 더 빠르고, 멀리 나아갈 수 있게끔 이끌어 주는 선두 주자를 뜻한다. 다양한 분야의 사람들이 만나 서로 페이스메이커가 되어 앞으로 정진하고자 하는 것이 페이스메이커스의 취지이다.

 

공연홍보마케팅협회와 TFH에 참여하면서 생각보다 많은 곳에서 페이스메이커 모임이 있다고 느꼈다. 다양한 분야에서 서로가 더 발전될 수 있도록 정보 교환을 하거나 자신을 돌아볼 수 있는 시간을 가질 수 있는 계기가 되었다. 항상 앞으로만 보고 달리는 자기 자신의 모습을 잠시나마 뒤돌아 자신이 달려왔던 것을 돌아보는 일도 중요한 것 같다.

지난주 토요일, TFH에서 "놓지마 정신줄"이란 주제로 이야기하여 사람들의 다양한 경험과 생각들을 간접적으로 느낄 수 있었다. 그러면서 복잡했던 내 머릿속을 조금 정리 할 수 있었던 시간이었다.

Pacemakers

 

There are a lot of meetings as called pacemaker.  They meet once a month with their members who working at the related field or interesting in new one. Last week, I had attended the two pacemaker groups. I believe that these groups make me development and grow up. 

 

Pacemaker?

 

Pacemaker is a runner who leads a middle or long distance running event for the first section to ensure a fast time and avoid excessive tactical racing. They serve to establish and maintain a rhythmic activity.

 

I had attended two pacemaker meeting that held by Performing Marketing group and TFH(The First Human). I felt that there were a lot of pacemaker group in Korea. Various field people shared the information and ideas what they think and how to develop society or on their field. I believed that these meeting made me looked back what I did and what I am gonna do. 

 

On TFH meeting, we talked "Hold on your mind", and I could listen people's experiences and thoughts. I could feel and learn through their experiences indirectly. Moreover, I could make me think clearly and found what I am gonna do. 

 

p.s I recommend to join in, if you have an opportunity to attend pacemakers. Cuz you can meet many people who desire their dream or objectives. Then you know what you are going to do.
