작년 라라랜드의 개봉으로 많은 사람이 사랑과 꿈에 대해서 생각을 해봤을 거라 생각한다. 일 년이 지난 지금 사람들이 잊었던 사랑과 꿈에 관해서 다시 한 번 생각할 시간을 주기 위해 라라랜드가 재개봉한 것으로 느껴졌다.

미아는 연기자가 되기 위해 오디션을 보며 꿈을 쫓아가는 배우 지망생으로, 셰바스찬은 재즈를 대중화시키기 위해 노력하는 음악가로 등장한다. 각자의 꿈과 이에 다가오는 상황을 도전하고 갈등을 이겨내며 단순한 사랑 이야기가 아닌 현실에 맞닥뜨린 꿈꾸는 자들을 보여주는 영화같이 느꼈다. 

그러면서도 미아와 셰바스찬의 예쁘고 씁쓸한 사랑을 보여주었다. 미아와 셰바스찬은 서로의 꿈을 위해 노력하고 응원해주지만, 현실과 타협하는 시점에 들어서게 되는 모습을 보게 된다. 처음에는 사랑하는 사람과 모든 헤쳐나갈 것처럼 보이지만, 시간이 지날수록 각자의 삶에 타협하며 변해가는 모습을 보여주었다. 영화의 마지막 장면에서의 서로의 미소를 보며 아름답지만 씁쓸한 사랑 이야기를 또, 꿈을 위해 놓지 않는 Dreamer들을 위한 영화로 보인다.

엠마스톤은 골든 글로브 시상식에서 "라라랜드는 희망과 창의력에 관한 영화고, 꿈을 꾸는 자들을 위한 영화다"라고 말했다. 꿈을 꾸고 있는 사람이라면 잠시 영화를 보고 한 템포 쉬며, 다시 힘을 내서 꿈에 한 발짝 다가가는 길을 만들어가면 좋겠다.

La La Land is for Dreamer

La La Land was released at 2016. This moive gave opportunity to think Love and Dream. One years later, La La Land is realsed again for the first anniversary. I believe that La La Land identifies the messages which dreamers and lovers are approaching their goals.

Mia is a dreamer who wants to be actor, and Sebastian is a musican who wants to make popularization of Jazz. They are challenging of their goals and overcoming of conflicts such as financial problems, and social position. After watching the movie, I believe not only showing the Mia and Sebastian's love story, but also they face with reality in the world.

 

 

Moreover, Mia and Sebastian showed a miserable love story. Mia and Sebastian tried and encouraged their dream. Also, They look like that getting over a difficult situations of reality; however, they compromised with reality. Then thimes went by. They met at the Jazz bar as Sebastian's dream. And they smiled each other. At that moment, we could guess there were a lot of things in their minds.

La La Land is for dreamer who follow their dream with love story. Emma Stone said at Golden Globes "This is a film for dreamers, I think that hope and creativity are two of the most important things in the world." I agree what she said. If you guys are dreamer, take time and watching the film, La La Land. Then make the path to approach the your goal.
